In a post-divorce child support dispute case in Fujian, the court ruled that the father must increase child support to 10000 yuan per month.

Plaintiff Wang (female) and defendant Chen (male) registered their marriage on 2019/10/10 and had a daughter, Chen Yi, on 2021/5/20. In 2023/12, the parties finalized their divorce at the Civil Affairs Bureau and signed a Divorce Agreement, stipulating that the minor daughter, Chen Yi, would be raised by Plaintiff Wang, while Defendant Chen would pay child support of 6000 yuan per month until the child turns 18. In 2024/6, Plaintiff Wang filed a lawsuit in court, stating that the child has reached school age and her actual needs for education and healthcare have significantly increased. Additionally, Defendant Chen's income has risen substantially since the divorce, with his monthly salary now exceeding 5 ten thousand yuan. The originally agreed child support of 6000 yuan per month is no longer sufficient to meet the child's actual needs. Plaintiff Wang requests that Defendant Chen increase the child support to 10000 yuan per month.

The court ruled that Defendant Chen shall pay child support of 10000 yuan per month for the minor daughter, Chen Yiyi, starting from 7 of 2024, until she reaches the age of 18. The Defendant shall bear all litigation costs in this case.
